Historical Background:

The T 72M is an export variant of the T 72 “Ural”, widely sold to Warsaw Pact countries from the late 1970s onward. It featured a thinner, more sloped turret and omitted advanced smoke grenade dischargers, thus often referred to as the “monkey model” in Western circles. Despite this, it remained a reliable, cost-effective main battle tank fielded by nations like Poland, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany.
