DSPIAE AT-HWP Precision Razor Saw

The DSPIAE AT-HWP Precision Razor Saw is designed for fine, controlled cutting of plastic, resin, 3D printed parts and soft wood. Its large 115 x 20 mm blade combines a very fine 0.1 mm kerf with 32 TPI teeth, helping to keep material loss to a minimum while making accurate cuts.

The cutting section is made from high-carbon manganese steel for sharpness, hardness and resistance to deformation and wear. A 304 stainless steel reinforcement rib runs along the blade, increasing rigidity and reducing blade flutter during longer cuts. The blade also receives a blued anti-rust treatment and anti-rust oil protection.

Fine 0.1 mm Cutting Kerf

With a tooth pitch of approximately 0.79 mm and a 0.1 mm kerf, the AT-HWP is particularly useful where a narrow, controlled cut is required. DSPIAE recommends holding the blade at approximately a 30-degree angle to the workpiece and applying cutting force in a single direction.

The saw can be used on ABS and other plastics, resin parts, 3D printed parts and soft wood. It is not suitable for cutting metal or glass. It sits naturally alongside other specialist saws and blades used for model making and detailed hobby work.

Quick-Release Replaceable Blade

The AT-HWP uses a replaceable blade system, allowing a worn or damaged blade to be changed rather than replacing the complete saw. The handle incorporates the tool required to loosen the blade retaining nut. Replacement DSPIAE HWP-01 razor saw blades are available separately.

The handle is manufactured from aluminium alloy and nylon, giving the saw a rigid but lightweight body. Overall dimensions are 241 x 31 x 15 mm.

Care and Safety

The manganese steel cutting section can rust after its protective coating wears through. Apply anti-rust oil regularly after use and store the blade in the supplied VCI bag. The protective cover is primarily intended to prevent blade deformation and does not provide rust protection.

Saw blades are consumable items and should be replaced if the teeth become worn or damaged. The cutting edges are sharp, so keep the saw out of the reach of children and avoid dropping or striking the tool, which may damage the blade or mechanism.
