GreenStuffWorld adhesive masking sheets provide a practical way to create custom masks for detailed painting work. The yellowish paper has a low-tack adhesive backing, allowing it to be applied temporarily to a surface and removed afterwards without leaving adhesive residue or damaging the surface.

The pack contains two 200x300mm adhesive sheets. Their size allows both larger masked areas and smaller individual shapes to be cut from the same material, making them useful when standard strips of masking tape are not suited to the pattern or area being painted.

Cut your own detailed masks

The masking paper can be cut cleanly using scissors or a sharp blade, allowing intricate shapes and designs to be produced. It can even be cut directly on the model where appropriate, helping with masks that need to follow a particular panel, outline or surface detail.

Light transparency is another useful feature. The sheet can be placed over a drawing or surface so patterns and shapes remain visible underneath, allowing them to be traced or copied before cutting. This is useful when repeating a particular shape or transferring a design into a paint mask.

Clean paint definition

The masking material is designed for use with every type of paint, providing clean definition and helping to create lip-free edges. Its matt surface helps prevent paint from sliding along the mask edges, while the low-tack adhesive keeps the sheet temporarily in place during painting.

These sheets can be used on their own or alongside other masking tape and masking products, including masking tape for curves, liquid mask and masking putty. Combining different masking methods can be useful when a design includes straight edges, curves and irregular shapes that cannot easily be covered using a single material.
