GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape 8mm

GreenStuffWorld Flexible Masking Tape is made from flexible PVC plastic and designed for precise masking when painting models and miniatures. Its flexibility allows the 8mm-wide tape to follow defined curves and contoured surfaces, making it useful when the required masking line needs to follow the shape of the model.

The tape can be applied to a variety of surfaces and used on both painted and unpainted subjects. By covering selected areas before painting, it helps prevent them from being accidentally coloured while adjacent sections are worked on.

Flexible masking for curves and contours

The flexible PVC construction is particularly useful for intricate masking where a straight masking line is not required. The tape can be positioned to create defined curves and follow contoured surfaces, allowing greater control over the boundary between protected and exposed areas.

It provides very good adhesion to model surfaces without leaving traces of glue behind when removed. The tape is also designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks, helping the masked area remain protected throughout the painting process.

Designed for airbrush and spray painting

The 8mm tape is intended primarily for use with an airbrush or spray, although it can also be used with a brush with certain techniques. Suitable applications include plastic scale models, dioramas, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects.

For projects that combine curved masking with larger or differently shaped protected areas, this flexible tape can be used alongside other masking tape and masking products. Its 8mm width provides a useful balance between surface coverage and the ability to follow shaped masking lines.

This GreenStuffWorld flexible masking tape is intended for precise and intricate masking, with its 8mm-wide PVC construction allowing it to follow curves and contours while adhering securely without leaving traces of glue behind.
