GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape 18mm x 18m

GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape is a self-adhesive tape designed specifically for model painting. At 18mm wide, it provides useful coverage when areas of a model need to be protected while surrounding sections are painted with a brush, airbrush or spray.

The roll contains 18 metres of tape, giving you plenty of material for repeated masking jobs. Apply it to the areas that need to remain protected, then paint the exposed sections without accidentally colouring the masked surface.

Mask areas during model painting

The tape can be applied to a variety of surfaces and is designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks. This makes it suitable for masking at different stages of a paint job, especially where you need a clear boundary between painted and protected areas.

Its 18mm width is useful for covering larger areas directly. It can also be used as part of a more detailed masking arrangement where different sections of a model need to be isolated before painting. The tape works with brush painting as well as airbrush and spray applications.

Suitable for a range of modelling projects

GreenStuffWorld masking tape can be used across dioramas, plastic scale models, model railways, military models, aviation models, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects. It can be applied to painted or unpainted surfaces, giving it a practical role throughout different stages of model preparation and painting.

Masking is particularly useful when one section has already been painted and needs protecting while another colour or area is worked on. The tape creates a temporary barrier so the modeller can concentrate on the exposed section rather than trying to avoid adjacent areas with the brush or airbrush.

This 18mm tape can also be used alongside other masking tape and masking products when a project combines larger protected sections with smaller or more intricate areas.

Each roll of GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape measures 18mm wide by 18m long, providing a straightforward way to protect selected areas and control where paint is applied during model painting.
