GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape 2mm x 18m

GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape is designed specifically for model painting, providing a narrow self-adhesive strip for protecting selected areas while colour is applied elsewhere. At just 2mm wide, this version is suited to fine masking work where careful placement and a small protected area are required.

The tape can be used with brush, airbrush or spray painting. By covering the areas that need to remain untouched, you can concentrate on painting the exposed sections without accidentally applying colour to adjacent surfaces. Each roll contains 18 metres of 2mm-wide masking tape.

Fine 2mm masking for detailed areas

The narrow width allows the tape to be positioned around small sections and details where wider masking tape would cover more of the model than required. It can be applied to a variety of surfaces and is suitable for use on painted or unpainted subjects.

The tape is designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks. This makes it useful during multi-stage painting, where completed areas can be protected while another section is worked on, as well as for initial masking before the first colours are applied.

Suitable for different modelling projects

This 2mm tape can be used for plastic scale models, dioramas, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects. Its fine width makes it particularly useful when the masking job calls for a narrow strip rather than broad surface coverage.

Different areas of the same project may require different masking methods. The 2mm tape can therefore be used alongside other masking tape and masking products, allowing smaller sections to be protected with the narrow tape while other masking materials handle larger areas.
