GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape 3mm x 18m

GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape is a self-adhesive modelling tape designed to protect selected areas while painting. This narrow 3mm version is particularly useful where careful placement is needed around smaller sections of a model, helping to keep paint away from areas that should remain untouched.

The tape can be used when painting with a brush, airbrush or spray. Each roll contains 18 metres of 3mm-wide tape, providing plenty of material for repeated masking throughout a project.

Narrow tape for controlled masking

At only 3mm wide, the tape can be positioned around relatively small areas without covering more of the surrounding surface than necessary. This makes it useful when creating controlled paint boundaries or protecting details while another section is being painted.

The self-adhesive tape can be applied to a variety of surfaces and is suitable for painted or unpainted subjects. It is designed not to absorb paint colour or leave marks, allowing the protected section to remain covered while work continues on the exposed area.

For model painting and dioramas

The tape can be used across a wide variety of modelling projects, including plastic scale models, dioramas, railway modelling, military modelling, aviation modelling, model kits, model aircraft and radio-controlled subjects. Its narrow format is useful where a wider masking tape would cover too much of the working area.

It can also be combined with other masking tape and masking products when a paint scheme requires different widths or masking methods across the same project. This allows the 3mm tape to handle smaller sections while other masking materials protect larger or differently shaped areas.

Supplied as one 18m roll, this GreenStuffWorld Masking Tape provides a narrow 3mm strip for protecting small areas and defining controlled boundaries during brush, airbrush and spray painting.
