The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Filthy Dirt is a large-format acrylic weathering effect developed for creating realistic dirt, grime, dust, and aged environmental finishes on miniatures, models, terrain, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be blended, softened, and reactivated for highly natural-looking weathering results.

The formula allows pigments to naturally settle into panel lines, recesses, and textured surfaces to create convincing dirt accumulation and tonal variation. The finish can be adjusted using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to achieve subtle weathering or heavily worn and dirty effects.

The larger 240ml format is particularly useful for gaming boards, large terrain builds, scenery pieces, and extensive weathering projects where wider coverage and layered environmental effects are required. Once finished, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the weathering during handling.
