Water Soluble Patina Moss
The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Moss is an acrylic weathering effect designed for creating realistic moss, algae, moisture staining, and environmental ageing on miniatures, models, scenery, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be manipulated and blended for highly natural-looking finishes.
Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for fantasy terrain, ruined scenery, military models, railway layouts, and science fiction projects.

The formula allows pigments to naturally settle into crevices, textured details, and recessed surfaces, helping to create convincing organic weathering and environmental staining. The effect can be softened, blended, or partially removed using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to create anything from subtle moisture marks to heavily weathered moss-covered finishes.
The product can be applied directly by brush or slightly diluted for airbrush use when smoother transitions and broader weathering effects are required. Once complete, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the finish during handling.
