Water Soluble Patina Moss
The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Moss is a large-format acrylic weathering effect designed for creating realistic moss, damp staining, algae growth, and environmental ageing on miniatures, terrain, scenery, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be blended and manipulated for highly natural weathering finishes.
Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for fantasy terrain, military scenery, railway modelling, ruined structures, and display dioramas.

The formula allows pigments to naturally settle into textured areas, crevices, and surface details, helping create realistic environmental staining and organic weathering effects. The finish can be adjusted using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to achieve anything from subtle moisture staining to heavy moss-covered surfaces.
The larger 240ml format is especially useful for extensive terrain builds, gaming boards, ruined scenery, and large diorama projects where broad coverage and layered environmental weathering are required. Once complete, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the finish during handling.
