The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Turquoise Oxide is an acrylic weathering effect designed for creating realistic verdigris, oxidised metal, moisture staining, and aged surface finishes on miniatures, models, scenery, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be manipulated and blended for highly natural-looking results.

Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for fantasy models, historical miniatures, industrial scenery, science fiction projects, and railway modelling.

The formula allows pigments to naturally collect within panel lines, recesses, and textured details, helping to create convincing aged metal and weathering effects. The finish can be softened, blended, or partially removed using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to achieve subtle tonal changes or heavier oxidation.

The product can be applied directly with a brush or slightly diluted for airbrush application when broader weathering transitions and environmental staining are required. Once finished, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the effect from handling.
