Water Soluble Patina Verdigris
The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Verdigris is an acrylic weathering effect developed for recreating realistic verdigris, oxidised copper, aged bronze, and environmental weathering on miniatures, models, scenery, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the effect to be blended and reactivated for highly natural finishes.
Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for fantasy miniatures, historical models, industrial scenery, science fiction terrain, and decorative weathering projects.

The formula allows pigments to settle naturally into panel lines, crevices, and textured details, helping create convincing aged metal finishes and environmental staining. Effects can be manipulated using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to create anything from subtle oxidation to heavily weathered surfaces.
The product can be applied directly with a brush or slightly diluted for airbrush use when smoother transitions and larger-scale weathering effects are required. Once complete, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the finish during handling.
