The GreenStuffWorld Water Soluble Patina Yellow Oxide is a large-format acrylic weathering effect designed for creating realistic oxidation, dirt, grime, and environmental staining on miniatures, models, terrain, and dioramas. Its partially water-soluble formula allows the weathering to be blended, softened, and reactivated for highly natural-looking finishes.
Part of the patina paints range, this product is suitable for military vehicles, industrial scenery, fantasy terrain, railway modelling, and science fiction projects.

The formula allows pigments to naturally settle into textured areas, recesses, and panel lines to recreate convincing dirt buildup and tonal variation. Effects can be manipulated using damp brushes, cotton swabs, or sponges to create subtle staining or heavily weathered finishes depending on the desired result.
The larger 240ml format is especially useful for large terrain projects, gaming boards, scenery pieces, and extensive weathering applications where broader coverage is needed. Once the effect is complete, sealing with matte varnish is recommended to preserve the ultra-matte appearance and protect the finish during handling.
