The Hasegawa Cutting Template D (Square Ruler) is a precision-engineered modelling tool designed to assist with accurate scribing, engraving and surface detailing on scale models. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and machined to tight tolerances, this template provides modellers with a reliable guide for creating clean and consistent panel lines, access panels and geometric surface details.
Constructed from durable 0.3mm thick stainless steel, the template is specifically designed for use with scribing needles, engraving tools and hobby knives. The thin profile allows the template to sit closely against model surfaces, helping to minimise tool movement and improve accuracy when creating recessed panel lines or modifying existing kit details.
The template includes a wide range of square and rectangular openings in 0.5mm increments, along with rounded-corner squares and rounded parallelogram shapes. These designs are based on commonly found aircraft and vehicle access panels, inspection hatches and maintenance covers, making the template particularly useful for aircraft, armour, automotive and science fiction modelling projects.
