History
The North American F-86 Sabre entered service with the United States Air Force in 1949 and quickly established itself as one of the world’s finest jet fighters. The F-86F-30 variant introduced the more powerful “6-3” wing, significantly improving manoeuvrability and high-speed performance. During the Korean War, Sabres achieved an impressive combat record against Soviet-built MiG-15s, securing air superiority for United Nations forces. Following the conflict, the Sabre served with numerous air forces around the world and remained in frontline service for many years, becoming one of the most influential jet fighters of the Cold War era.
