Hasegawa F/A-18D Hornet VMFA-232 Red Devils 2025 (1/48) HALE07562
The Hasegawa F/A-18D Hornet VMFA-232 Red Devils 2025 is a highly detailed 1/48 scale plastic model kit celebrating the 100th Anniversary of one of the United States Marine Corps’ most famous aviation units. This special edition recreates the striking commemorative aircraft displayed by Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 232 (VMFA-232) at Iwakuni Air Base during 2025.
Based on Hasegawa’s acclaimed F/A-18D tooling, the model accurately captures the distinctive twin-seat Hornet with finely engraved panel lines, a highly detailed cockpit, realistic landing gear and sharply moulded airframe components. This release also includes newly tooled upper fuselage antenna parts to represent the updated configuration of the anniversary aircraft.
The highlight of the kit is the impressive decal sheet featuring the colourful 100th Anniversary markings carried by aircraft “WT00”. The bold commemorative scheme makes this Hornet a standout addition to any modern military aircraft collection and offers an enjoyable project for both experienced builders and Hornet enthusiasts.
