This 1/72 scale Junkers Ju88A-4 from Hasegawa recreates one of Germany’s most versatile aircraft of the Second World War. The Ju 88 served in numerous roles including medium bomber, dive bomber, reconnaissance aircraft and night fighter, earning a reputation for adaptability and solid performance across multiple theatres.
The A-4 variant became the most widely produced bomber version, featuring strengthened wings, improved engines and increased operational range. It played a major role in Luftwaffe bombing operations throughout Europe, the Mediterranean and the Eastern Front.
Hasegawa’s kit captures the sleek lines of this twin-engine bomber with finely engraved panel detail, clear glazed nose sections and accurate proportions. The cockpit and fuselage are cleanly moulded, providing a solid foundation for further detailing if desired, while remaining approachable for a straightforward out-of-box build.
