Hasegawa Cyber Troopers Kagekiyo Phantom 1/100 Kit

Marking the 30th anniversary of VIRTUAL-ON, this special re-release from Hasegawa recreates the Shadow Colour Kagekiyo [Yashima] as a detailed 1/100 scale model kit. VIRTUAL-ON celebrated its 30th anniversary on 27 November 2025, and this release forms part of the Virtuaroid series based on the stylish designs of Hajime Katoki.

The completed model stands 180mm tall and the kit contains 268 parts. It features the Commander Type, a mobile suit modelled during the development of Virtual-On Force but which never appeared in the game. This gives the kit a distinctive subject within Hasegawa’s Virtuaroid series and makes it an interesting addition to a collection of 1/100 plastic kits.

Selectable Kagekiyo Variants

A key feature of this kit is the choice offered for the head and weapons. These parts can be selected between Yashima, Hi Kaze and Kaze, allowing the modeller to choose between the three supplied configurations when building the model.

The parts are moulded in shades inspired by the shadow colours of the subject. These include black, blue-grey, orange-yellow, light grey, dark grey and clear red. The combination gives the kit its characteristic Shadow Colour appearance while retaining the distinctive styling of the Kagekiyo design.

Clear Bonus Parts Included

Clear parts are also included as bonus parts, adding another element to the supplied 268-part kit. Together with the selectable head and weapon options, these provide additional choices when assembling the model.
