History
The Jaguar XJ-S H.E. became one of the standout touring cars of the mid-1980s under the management of Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR). Powered by Jaguar’s smooth and powerful 5.3-litre V12 engine, the XJ-S proved highly competitive in endurance racing around the world. Its greatest success came on 6 October 1985, when John Goss and Armin Hahne drove Car No.10 to victory in the Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama, while the sister Car No.8 secured third place. The result remains one of Jaguar’s finest achievements in Australian motorsport and helped establish TWR as one of the leading touring car teams of the era.
Glue and paints are sold separately.
