High-Temp Polyester Tape 20mm RST2035

Scale Model Shop High-Temp Polyester Tape RST2035 is designed for epoxy resin work where clean, controlled edges are required. The tape combines a durable PET polyester film backing with a silicone adhesive that remains firmly in place through heat and curing, then peels away without leaving sticky residue or damaging moulds.

The tape measures 20mm wide and is supplied on a 33m roll. Its polyester film construction is heat-resistant and waterproof, making it suitable for a range of resin casting and moulding tasks. The material is easy to handle and can be positioned around the edges of pours, moulds and layered designs where a defined boundary is needed.

Compatibility

This polyester tape is suitable for epoxy resin pours, mould work and casting edges. Supported uses include deep-pour artwork, resin coasters, complex moulds and layered resin designs. No compatibility with specific resin brands, mould materials or curing systems has been supplied.

Fitting Notes

Apply the tape where a controlled edge or temporary barrier is required before beginning the resin pour or casting process. The silicone adhesive is designed to grip firmly during heat exposure and curing while allowing the tape to be removed cleanly afterwards.

The waterproof PET backing helps the tape retain its structure during resin work, while the 20mm width provides coverage for mould edges and other defined areas. Store the roll in a cool, dry environment to preserve the adhesive performance and overall tape quality.
