History: The DAC Mk.I (Daimler Armoured Car) was one of Britain’s most effective reconnaissance vehicles of the Second World War. Combining speed, armour protection, and a powerful 2-pounder gun, it was designed to perform both scouting and direct support roles. The Close Support version replaced the main gun with a howitzer to provide additional firepower for infantry support. Serving in Europe, North Africa, and the Far East, the Daimler Armoured Car proved to be a durable and highly capable platform that remained in service long after the war.
