History
The KTO Rosomak is a Polish-produced armoured vehicle derived from the Finnish Patria AMV platform. Entering service in the early 2000s, it was designed to meet the needs of modern military operations, offering high mobility, protection, and adaptability.
The Medevac variant was developed to support battlefield medical operations, providing a protected environment for evacuating injured personnel from combat zones. Equipped with medical equipment and adapted interior layouts, these vehicles play a vital role in reducing response times and improving survival rates.
Rosomak vehicles have been deployed in international operations, including missions in Afghanistan, where their mobility and protection proved valuable in complex environments. The Medevac version, in particular, highlighted the importance of armoured medical transport in modern conflict scenarios.
Today, the Rosomak family continues to evolve, with specialised variants like the Medevac demonstrating the versatility of the platform in both combat and support roles.
