The ICM M1025A2 Humvee Armament Carrier is a detailed 1/35 scale plastic model kit depicting an armed version of the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. The model features the M1025A2’s sloped rear body, rigid roof-mounted weapon station and an M2HB heavy machine gun.

The vehicle’s body and cabin components are reproduced with detailed features and proportions based on the full-size Humvee. The completed model measures approximately 138 mm long and 71 mm high. Camouflage and desert finishing options are included, providing a choice between two United States Army vehicles from 2006 and 2007.

Containing 210 plastic parts, the kit provides a detailed basis for painting and weathering a modern American military vehicle. Its roof-mounted armament and military police marking option make it particularly suitable for patrol, convoy escort, reconnaissance or roadside dioramas.

History

The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle was developed after the United States Armed Forces sought a unified platform capable of replacing several ageing vehicle types. AM General was selected following a competition with Chrysler Defense and Teledyne Continental, and the first production vehicle left the line on 2 January 1985.

Built around a steel frame with a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium body, the Humvee positioned its drivetrain components high within the chassis to create a flat underbody and improve off-road performance. It made its combat debut in Panama in 1989 and became widely recognised during Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

The M1025A2 belongs to the A2 modernisation series and was designed to improve mobility, reliability and field maintainability. Its protection package combines steel, Kevlar and polycarbonate glass. The full-size armament carrier can accommodate weapons including the M2HB heavy machine gun, Mk19 grenade launcher and TOW anti-tank missile system.
