Italeri 1/32 Dassault Mirage IIIC Interceptor

This Italeri 1/32 scale kit recreates the Dassault Mirage IIIC, the distinctive delta-wing interceptor that became a landmark of French aeronautical engineering. Developed to equip units of the French Air Force from the early 1960s, the Mirage III went on to achieve considerable export success and saw service with numerous countries.

The Mirage IIIC was configured as a single-seat multirole interceptor fighter. Powered by the Snecma Atar engine with afterburner, the aircraft was capable of exceeding Mach 2. Its armament included two 30 mm DEFA cannons, while it could also carry a variety of offensive weapons, including infrared-guided air-to-air missiles such as the AIM-9 Sidewinder and Matra Magic, as well as radar-guided missiles.
