Known for its excellent handling characteristics, the Trojan served not only as a trainer but also in light attack roles in later years.

This kit features refined surface detail including recessed panel lines and rivets, a fully equipped cockpit, detailed engine, and undercarriage assembly. Builders can expect various markings and optional ordnance for enhanced display options.

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Highly detailed cockpit and engine components
  • Optional open cowling and canopy positions
  • Multiple decal markings included
  • Undercarriage with full detail and realistic stance

History:

The North-American T-28 Trojan was introduced in the early 1950s to replace the T-6 Texan in U.S. military service. With its powerful radial engine and advanced aerodynamics, the T-28B variant served the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as a primary trainer. Many were also armed and used in counter-insurgency operations during conflicts in Southeast Asia and Latin America. With its distinctive sound and tough airframe, the T-28 became a beloved aircraft among aviators and collectors alike. Today, numerous Trojans remain active on the civilian warbird circuit, a testament to their robust design and flying appeal.
