North-American T-6 Texan (1/32) KH32002

This 1/32 scale T-6 Texan kit from Kitty Hawk Models represents the renowned American trainer aircraft that saw extensive service across the globe. Designed with highly detailed surface panel lines and finely moulded parts, this kit captures the rugged character and versatile configurations of the original aircraft.

The kit includes decal options for four operators:

  • French Air Force
  • Philippine Air Force
  • Spanish Air Force
  • Belgian Air Force

Model builders can enjoy multi-pose assembly options including open or closed canopies, deployed control surfaces, and a well-appointed cockpit. The inclusion of external stores and accurate markings enhances realism for display or diorama settings.

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Decals for four international air forces
  • Detailed cockpit and surface features
  • Optional position landing gear and canopies
  • Clear and photo-etched parts included

Note: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

Paints are shown for reference only; they may not be recommended in the manufacturer’s instructions and are to be used only as a guide. It is recommended that you conduct your own research to find the finish you want.

History:

The North-American T-6 Texan, known as the Harvard in Commonwealth service, was the backbone of Allied pilot training during and after World War II. Its balance of forgiving flight characteristics and responsive controls made it ideal for preparing fighter pilots for front-line service. More than 15,000 units were built, and it continued to serve in training, light attack, and liaison roles well into the postwar decades. The aircraft was widely exported and adapted, with many nations including France, Spain, and Belgium incorporating it into their air forces. Its enduring legacy is cemented by its presence at airshows and in warbird collections to this day.
