Matho Models Warning Floor Markings

Matho Models Warning Floor Markings provides an A6-sized sheet of yellow and black water-slide decals for adding warning markings to scale modelling projects. Designed in 1/35 scale, the decals can also be used with other scales where their size suits the project.

The sheet provides one larger area of each marking type rather than restricting you to predetermined sizes. This allows the markings to be cut to match your specific requirements, whether you need a long, narrow strip or a larger warning-marked area. The flexible format also provides enough material for use across more than one project.

High-definition printing provides crisp results even in fine details, while accurate, colourfast colours and a semi-matte finish give the yellow and black markings a clean appearance.

Applying and Weathering the Markings

Cut the required decal section to size with a sharp knife, then place it in water for approximately 5-10 seconds to loosen it from the carrier paper. Gently slide the decal into position using tweezers. Decal softener, such as Micro Set and Sol, can improve adhesion, particularly when working on non-flat surfaces.

Use tissue paper and apply light pressure over the positioned decal to remove excess water or decal softener and fix it into place. Once dry, an airbrushed coat of varnish can provide protection, while a semi-matte or matte varnish can reduce glare if required.

The warning markings are supplied without pre-weathering, allowing you to apply the level of weathering that best suits your design and blend the decals into the surrounding finish. Copyright markings are not present on the actual product.
