History:
Introduced as a replacement for the M113, the M2 Bradley series has served as the backbone of U.S. mechanised infantry for decades. The M2A3 variant brought significant upgrades to both firepower and survivability, integrating thermal imaging, digitised battlefield management systems, and enhanced armour. The BUSK III upgrade—first deployed during the Iraq War—was developed in response to the growing threat of IEDs and urban combat challenges. It features advanced armour protection, improved seating to reduce blast injuries, and enhanced sensor systems. These upgrades transformed the Bradley into one of the most survivable and capable IFVs in contemporary military use, combining mobility with lethal force on modern battlefields.
