History

The G7117 1.5-ton 4×4 truck formed part of the Chevrolet G506 family of military vehicles supplied to the United States Army and Allied forces during the Second World War. Maintenance shop variants were equipped with specialist tools, spare parts and workshop facilities that enabled mechanics to carry out essential repairs close to the front line.
