History:
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, particularly the early D-11RE variant, was a workhorse of the Allied air forces in WWII. Armed with eight .50 calibre machine guns and capable of carrying bombs and rockets, the P-47 played a key role in both air-to-air and ground-attack missions.
