MiniArt 1/35 WWII Military Vehicles

Raupenschlepper Ost RSO/01 Late Production (1/35) 35482

MiniArt’s 1/35 scale Raupenschlepper Ost RSO/01 Late Production kit offers an incredibly detailed replica of the iconic German fully tracked prime mover. Originally developed for use on the Eastern Front, where wheeled vehicles struggled in the deep mud and snow, the RSO proved vital in transporting supplies and towing light artillery under extreme conditions.

  • Highly detailed late production variant of the RSO/01
  • Injection-moulded kit with over 450 parts
  • Fully detailed chassis and interior
  • Includes engine and transmission assembly
  • Link-and-length tracks for realistic presentation
  • Photo-etched parts for fine detailing
  • Decals for multiple marking options

Perfect for Eastern Front dioramas, this version represents the later production run with updated road wheels and cab design. The kit includes a full set of tools and accessories to bring your build to life, whether in transport, supply, or artillery towing scenes.

Note: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

History:

The Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO), meaning “Caterpillar Tractor East”, was developed by Steyr to address the Wehrmacht’s logistical problems on the Russian Front. Introduced in 1942, it featured a simple, robust design with tracked suspension for all-terrain mobility. The late production model refined the enclosed cab and drivetrain, increasing reliability and crew comfort. It became a staple of German supply chains throughout the latter years of the war.
