RP Toolz Mitre Cutter RP-CUTR

The RP Toolz Mitre Cutter RP-CUTR is a modelling tool for making accurate straight and angled cuts in plastic, styrene, wood and other soft materials. It is suited to scratch-building, conversions and construction work where consistent lengths and clean mitre cuts are required.

The cutter is supplied with two 45-degree fences to help position material for repeatable angled cuts. An adjustable stop is also included, allowing multiple pieces to be cut to the same length without measuring each one separately. This can be particularly useful when preparing repeated structural parts, trim, framing or other small modelling components.

Product Features

  • Mitre cutting tool for modelling and craft work
  • Suitable for plastic, styrene, wood and other soft materials
  • Includes two 45-degree fences
  • Adjustable stop for repeatable cuts
  • Supplied with a 0.3mm blade for general cutting
  • Supplied with a 0.25mm blade for finer cuts
  • Manufacturer reference RP-CUTR

The two interchangeable blade sizes allow the cutter to be configured for different tasks. The 0.3mm blade is intended for general cutting, while the thinner 0.25mm blade is suited to finer and more delicate work. Replacement blades are available separately under references RP-RAZ03 for the 0.3mm blades and RP-RAZ025 for the 0.25mm blades, with each replacement pack containing five blades.

How to Use

Position the material against the appropriate fence, set the adjustable stop when repeated lengths are needed, and align the required cutting point beneath the blade. Apply controlled pressure to complete the cut. For angled work, use either of the supplied 45-degree fences to maintain a consistent mitre angle across matching parts.

Always select the blade thickness that best suits the material and level of detail required. Replace worn or damaged blades before continuing with precision work.
