The Perry Miniatures American Civil War Confederate Infantry 1861-65 set provides everything needed to build a complete Confederate infantry regiment for tabletop gaming, collecting or display. Sculpted by renowned figure designer Alan Perry, the figures capture the varied appearance of Confederate troops throughout much of the American Civil War and offer a high level of flexibility for creating realistic units.

The figures in this set primarily represent Confederate infantry from 1862 onwards, although many of the components also allow regiments from the earlier stages of the war to be depicted. The soldiers are shown wearing the short jackets commonly associated with Confederate forces, particularly from mid-1863 onwards. A mixture of headgear is included, featuring both military caps and broad-brimmed hats. This reflects the reality of Confederate service, where many regiments contained a variety of uniforms and equipment due to supply shortages and regional differences.

Each figure is supplied with separate arms, allowing units to be assembled in either the traditional right shoulder shift position or advancing aggressively at the charge. This flexibility enables players to create units that match their chosen battlefield role while adding visual variety across larger formations.

The box contains enough figures to build a substantial regiment and includes multiple flags, unit bases and a painting guide to assist with assembly and finishing.
