The Perry Miniatures Duchy Of Warsaw Infantry Elite Companies set allows wargamers and collectors to recreate the distinguished elite troops of the Duchy of Warsaw during the Napoleonic Wars. These soldiers served alongside Napoleon’s armies and earned a reputation for determination, discipline and battlefield effectiveness throughout the major campaigns of the period.

This set has been specifically designed for skirmish-level gaming and contains enough figures to build a variety of elite formations. All figures can be assembled as either Voltigeurs or Grenadiers, allowing players to customise units to suit their chosen army organisation. A command group is also included, making it possible to field complete units straight from the box.

Voltigeurs served as light infantry specialists and were commonly deployed ahead of the main battle line. Their role involved screening advancing formations, harassing enemy troops and operating in open order. Grenadiers represented the veteran and elite companies of the regiment. Often selected from the strongest and most experienced soldiers, they provided a powerful reserve and would reinforce skirmishers when additional combat strength was required.
