Rye Field Models brings these features to life with precision moulding and multimedia parts, giving modellers the tools to create a highly accurate representation of this vehicle.
History
The Stryker family of vehicles was introduced in the early 2000s to give the U.S. Army a fast, deployable armoured platform with multiple variants. The M1128 Mobile Gun System carried a 105mm tank gun designed to provide direct fire support against fortified positions, vehicles, and enemy armour. After 2010, enhancements were made to improve survivability, fire control, and operational effectiveness in Iraq and Afghanistan. The addition of the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) allowed for realistic training simulations. While the MGS faced challenges with weight and ammunition storage, it remained an important asset in providing mobile firepower for infantry support in diverse theatres of modern conflict.
