History

The Sd.Kfz.234/4 was the final and most heavily armed version of the German eight-wheeled armoured reconnaissance vehicles used in World War II. Based on a reliable chassis, the vehicle mounted a powerful 7.5cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun in an open-top fighting compartment. Deployed on both Eastern and Western fronts in 1944 and 1945, it offered a potent mix of speed, manoeuvrability, and anti-tank capability. Although produced in limited numbers, its combat effectiveness and distinctive design make it a standout subject for modellers.
