SMS Chrome Sealer is a specialised clear coat developed specifically for use over SMS HyperChrome finishes. Chrome effects are notoriously fragile, and this product exists for one simple reason, to protect that mirror-like surface without killing the shine that makes it special.
The formulation is water-based and carefully balanced to avoid dulling or clouding the chrome layer beneath. When applied correctly, it locks the finish in place while adding resistance to light handling and general wear. It is designed to work with the unique properties of HyperChrome rather than fighting against them, which is where many standard clear coats fall short.
This sealer is ideal for chrome parts that need a little extra protection once the effect is achieved. It allows you to finish a project with confidence, knowing the visual impact is preserved while the surface gains practical durability.
