Detailed 1/72 scale plastic model kit depicting the U.S. Army M1114 FRAG 5 up-armoured High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle fitted with a GPK turret. This kit represents the later protection standard introduced as battlefield threats continued to evolve during modern conflicts.
The model features a highly detailed chassis and suspension layout, along with a fully rendered interior reflecting the heavier armoured configuration of the FRAG 5 upgrade. The FRAG 5 upgrade package was developed to further improve crew survivability against improvised explosive devices and small arms fire, building on earlier up-armoured HMMWV designs. Additional armour protection and reinforced areas made these vehicles a common sight in convoy escort and urban patrol roles. When combined with the GPK turret, the M1114 FRAG 5 became one of the most recognisable U.S. military vehicles of the later stages of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
