This 1/35 scale Tamiya kit depicts the German Flakpanzer Mobelwagen, a World War II self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle built on the Panzer IV chassis. Designed as an interim measure to counter increasing Allied air superiority, the Mobelwagen was armed with a single 3.7cm Flak 43 cannon mounted within folding armour panels that could be lowered for combat or raised for travel.

History: Introduced in 1944, the Flakpanzer Mobelwagen was developed as a mobile anti-aircraft platform to protect German armoured formations from Allied aircraft.
