History: Introduced in 1940, the Flakvierling 38 combined four 2cm FlaK 38 cannons on a single mount, dramatically increasing the rate of fire against aircraft. Its flexibility also allowed effective use against lightly armoured ground targets. Mounted on towed trailers, half-tracks, and various vehicles, it was deployed across all major WWII fronts, providing German troops with vital air defence capability. Its high rate of fire and adaptability made it one of the most recognisable anti-aircraft weapons of the war.
