This 1/35 scale Tamiya model kit recreates the German Tiger I Ausf. E Early Production, one of the most formidable tanks of WWII. Introduced to the North African front in late 1942, the Tiger I brought unprecedented firepower and protection to the battlefield, mounting the powerful 8.8cm KwK 36 L/56 gun and heavy frontal armour up to 100mm thick.
- Accurate reproduction of early production features including air pre-cleaners, strengthened mantlet, and “S” mine dischargers.
- Detailed loader’s periscope and other 1942–43 configuration fittings.
- Includes precise turret, hull, and suspension details for authenticity.
- Faithfully recreates the Maybach HL 210 P45 engine deck layout.

With around 200 units produced between November 1942 and July 1943, the early production Tiger I quickly gained a fearsome reputation for its armour protection and long-range hitting power, influencing Allied tank design and tactics for the rest of the war.
