The Jagdpanzer IV /70(V) Lang was introduced in the latter stages of WWII as an evolution of the earlier L/48-armed tank destroyers. Mounted with the formidable L/70 7.5cm gun, this variant gained a reputation for long-range accuracy and destructive power. Its low profile, armoured sloped glacis plate, and use of the reliable Panzer IV chassis made it a significant threat to Allied forces, particularly during the Battle of the Bulge and engagements on the Eastern Front.
This 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya captures the aggressive silhouette and battlefield detail of the Lang. A cast Saukopf mantlet, welded hull textures, and precise suspension details add realism to the build. The kit includes steel-rimmed front wheels and belt-style lightweight tracks, characteristic of the final production variant. It also includes commander and loader figures to complete the scene.
