The Tamiya Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II in 1/48 scale captures the advanced design and carrier-based capabilities of this fifth-generation stealth fighter. The F-35C variant features larger wings, folding wingtips, and reinforced landing gear for CATOBAR (catapult assisted take-off but arrested recovery) operations, making it uniquely suited for aircraft carrier service.

This precision kit includes newly moulded fuselage parts, finely rendered surface detail with moulded-in Radar Absorbent Material (RAM) panels, and options for multiple configurations. Builders can choose deployed or folded wing tips, open or closed weapons bays, canopy, air refuelling probe, and boarding ladder. A range of ordnance is provided, including AIM-9X, AIM-120C, GBU-12, and GBU-31, along with pylons, a gun pod, and RCS enhancers for training configurations.
