Tamiya Plastic Model Kit

M4A3 Sherman w/75mm Gun & 3 Figures (1/35) 35250

This 1/35 scale Tamiya kit depicts the late-production M4A3 Sherman armed with the 75mm gun, a mainstay of U.S. armoured forces during the final stages of WWII. Powered by a Ford GAA V8 450hp engine, the M4A3 was introduced in February 1944 with an angled welded hull, 63.5mm frontal armour, and wet ammunition storage to reduce the risk of internal fires. The turret was fitted with a commander’s cupola and a loader’s hatch for improved crew efficiency.

By late 1944, Shermans like this were at the forefront of Allied operations during the Ardennes Offensive, better known as the Battle of the Bulge. Rugged, reliable, and supported by experienced crews, they played a decisive role in halting and then reversing the German counterattack. Their versatility allowed them to work alongside infantry, armoured cars, and trucks in combined-arms operations.

  • Accurately reproduced welded hull and cast turret with 75mm M3 main gun.
  • Two styles of commander’s cupolas and loader’s hatch options.
  • Choice of two types of road wheels and drive sprockets.
  • Realistic rubber-padded tracks included.
  • Three highly detailed crew figures in late-war winter uniforms, plus a standing tank commander.
  • Comprehensive stowage and accessories, including ammunition boxes, tripod, and ration crates.
  • Marking options for three different vehicles.

With its combination of historical accuracy and versatile assembly options, this set is ideal for dioramas depicting late-war European theatre operations, from the snow-covered Ardennes to the final push into Germany.
