History:

Introduced in 1981, the Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC was the range-topping coupé version of the W126 S-Class, representing the pinnacle of German luxury motoring in the 1980s. Powered by a 5.0-litre V8 producing around 231 horsepower, it combined effortless performance with remarkable refinement. The sleek, pillarless coupé design projected sophistication, while advanced safety features—such as anti-lock brakes and a rigid passenger cell—kept it ahead of its time.
