This 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya recreates the early production variant of the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H, considered the definitive model of Germany’s most important WWII tank. Produced between April 1943 and July 1944, the early H shared many features with the late Ausf. G, including identical suspension and wheels, while introducing upgrades such as full Schürzen side armour for improved protection.
- Highly detailed reproduction of the long-barrelled 7.5cm KwK40 L/48 main gun.
- Includes two 7.92mm MG34 machine guns.

The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Early Version balanced firepower, protection, and mobility, though added armour and ammunition increased its weight and slightly reduced top speed. Serving as the backbone of German Panzer Divisions, it earned its reputation as the “workhorse” of the Wehrmacht.
