This 1/48 scale model from Tamiya faithfully recreates the iconic US 2.5 ton 6X6 cargo truck, widely recognised as one of the most important logistical vehicles of WWII. Known affectionately as the “deuce and a half,” it was instrumental in keeping Allied forces supplied with ammunition, fuel, and rations across multiple theatres of war. The kit features a detailed chassis, realistic cab and cargo bed, and includes a driver figure to enhance diorama potential.

Its service extended into the Korean and Vietnam wars, where its adaptability allowed for various field modifications, including improvised armour for convoy protection.
