This 1/35 scale assembly kit recreates the M3 Lee Mk.1 medium tank, a mainstay of U.S. Army tank units from October 1941 until April 1943. The M3 Lee featured a limited traverse, sponson-mounted 75mm main gun, and a turret-mounted 37mm gun, offering formidable firepower for its time. The British also used it under the name “General Lee,” and together with U.S. orders, production reached 4,924 units.

History: The M3 Lee was developed as an interim design while the M4 Sherman was still under development. It saw extensive service in North Africa, where it helped Allied forces counter Axis armor, although its tall profile made it more vulnerable on the battlefield.
