Trumpeter Plastic Model Kit

Chinese Airborne Corps Z-10K Attack Helicopter (1/48) 05848

This 1/48 scale Trumpeter kit represents the Z-10K, a dedicated airborne variant of China’s advanced Z-10 attack helicopter. Specifically developed for the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) Airborne Corps, the Z-10K is optimised for rapid deployment and air assault operations. It differs from the standard ground forces model by incorporating modifications suited to airborne force requirements.

  • Scale: 1/48
  • Model length: 292.7mm
  • Main rotor diameter: 281mm
  • Total parts: 160+
  • Includes 7 sprues with fine surface detailing
  • Detailed cockpit, fuselage, rotor system and weaponry
  • Accurately replicates the Z-10K variant displayed at the 2016 Zhuhai Air Show

This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

Paints are shown for reference only; they may not be recommended in the manufacturer’s instructions and are to be used only as a guide. It is recommended that you conduct your own research to find the finish you want.

History: Developed from the base Z-10 platform by Changhe Aircraft Industries Corporation (CAIC), the Z-10K variant was tailored for the airborne units of the PLAAF. First entering service in the mid-2010s, it is part of China’s modernisation of its air-mobile forces. Its public debut in 2016 marked a significant moment in demonstrating China’s ability to deploy dedicated attack helicopters within airborne formations. The Z-10K continues to serve as a flexible and lethal rotary-wing asset, capable of performing close air support, anti-armour, and armed reconnaissance missions in complex environments.
