Victrix 28mm Carolingian Franks Armoured Infantry

Build a formidable force of early medieval warriors with this highly detailed 28mm plastic kit from Victrix. VXDA023 contains 36 armoured Carolingian warriors representing troops from the 8th to the 11th centuries, with a wide variety of armour, weapons, shields, heads and equipment for creating a diverse unit.

These figures can represent elite Carolingian infantry or dismounted cavalry. The warriors wear a varied selection of mail, scale and lamellar armour, reflecting armour types used by Carolingian troops. They can be equipped with stout spears, swords and hand axes, providing plenty of choice when assembling individual figures.

Extensive Modelling Options

The kit contains six identical sprues, with each sprue providing six armoured Carolingian warriors and a substantial selection of interchangeable components. The 19 heads per sprue offer numerous character and helmet choices, with some featuring optional crests or face pieces. Across the complete set there are 114 heads, giving you plenty of scope to vary the appearance of the 36 warriors.

Horn arms and standard bearer arms are also included for creating musicians and banner bearers. With a few shield swaps, the figures can be mixed with Victrix Saxons, Vikings and Normans, making them particularly versatile for wargames, Dark Age armies, conversions and fantasy settings.

The kit also provides enough cloaks to equip 24 figures, with plenty of spare components available for conversions and your bits box.
